hats, hats and a crown...
I feel I have got a bit of a knack for hats at the moment. I have done adult hats and baby hats but these are my baby hats so far. They are in all sorts of colours but this is just a small selection.

Christmas Time
Well since we will have a new arrival at christmas time I thought I would finally get round to knitting some more stockings! I have created new patterns for each one.
i now have orders for people wanting to give them as presents to their nieces and nephews!

Now do stranger
I know, I know I have been away for a while! And I promised I wouldn't be! But I finally have some me time before the baby comes so I'm hoping that as long as Steven doesn't hog the computer for FF then I should be able to post around once a week.
Well as you know we're having a little girl :) I have been knitting bits and bobs not only for myself but the large abundance of my friends who are also pregnant. Not only that but there are christmas presents to knit as I may not get time with having a little one, but my friend is starting up her own photography company which you should be able to view from here so I am knitting her a few props.
I am currently 30+6 weeks so as of tomorrow I only have 8 weeks left!!

still alive!
Well I'm still here! I've been busy knitting for christmas! So far I've done a purple headband like my red one. I've also learnt how to do lace and use double pointed needles on which I have done one lace fingerless glove which I am doing the second but I got fairly p*ssed off at them so I am currently, knitting a cable cowl on circular needles. Another first! I made a cowl with elongated seed stitch in wool that cost me £17 quid! Very expensive but its hand dyed so unique.
I also got three diamonds tattooed on my arm today for my great nana, my nanna and my mam.
Of course I will upload photos tomorrow as I'm on my phone!

bambino
Well I thought I would share my basic but I think cute baby booties and bibs. They dont take long to make up. They are for my pretty much sister Shelly's little baby girl Jasmine and my close friend Maddys little boy Lennie. I decided to make tiny pom poms for the booties and cute little star buttons on the bibs.

christmas countdown!!!
So I have started my christmas stockings. Im knitting one for everyone in my family including Steven and I. Thats what erm like 17 so I have to get cracking. they are all going to be different too. Im making my own designs within a premade pattern. Here is the first half of one.
As it is made to be sewn together it does look mishapen but it will look better once finished.
Do you have any plans for christmas? Are you going homemade too?

craft madness!!!!
I inherited my great nana's knitting stuff the other day. Which made Steven both happy and sad. Haha. Happy because I now have a needle case and knitting bag but sad due to the fact I have more knitting stuff! To make him happier about this event I have done a little sorting.
I went from this :
To this - all neatly put away, I separated it into sections of size, type, pairs, material. I don't knit with plastic or rubber. For a lady who couldn't get the hang of crochet she had a flipping load! I feel happier knowing that I have her needles and they aren't getting thrown away.

22/30 5? 10? 15?
Where do I see myself in 5? 10? 15 years time?
Well 5 years time I will be 30. I would like to think that I have either started applying to universities to become a nurse, studying or already become a nurse. I would also like to have a baby with Steven by this time. We will have moved from Yorkshire to somewhere down south due to Steven being in the army. I would like to have a house and make a start on my veg patch.
In 10 years time I will be 35. I want to have definitly have become a nurse. I would like to think I either work as a district nurse, on gastroenterology or an EMI unit. It would be nice if we have two children by now, preferably a boy and a girl. We could even be living abroad by now with Stevens postings taking us anywhere round the world. If setteled I want chickens and a well established veg patch.
In 15 years time I will be 40. <- Gosh if you hadnt have worked that out I would have been worried. I want to definitly be abroad either in canada or somewhere in europe. I would like to have maybe a little knitting e-shop, just selling bits and bobs as I go along. I would like to think I have got a hell of a lot faster by then! Steven and I will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary too.

My scarf is done!

Whoo only took me 5 days of work and one 200g ball of chunky variegated wool but its done! After a few mess up's at the start and when I was half way through casting off I ran out off wool! Which meant I had to pull out 4 rows just so I could cast off! Nightmare! I have like 5 more to do aswell! I have pictures to show you but be nice I have been on a gruelling 12 hour shift and it was taken at 10.30pm with no make up and my hair a birds nest lol!
