Just a little practice

Im currently playing with fair isle and creating my own patterns within basic knitting patterns, you have seen my basic booties and heres the vamped version.

Malta Baby

Whoo so we went to Malta and ended up in Sicily too! Minus all the rubble Malta was lovely especially her sister islands Comino which holds the Blue Lagoon and Gozo which was so lush and green! We were lucky enough to meet 3 other lovely couples which is always nice. shall we have a looksie at some pictures?

We went to the Blue Lagoon a few times since it was across the water from our hotel. WE went to Gozo on the ferry. We went on an open top bus to Valletta and Mdina where we rode in a horse and carriage, on a little train round the countryside up to Mtarfa the highest point. We went on a harbour cruise round Sliema and Valletta. We went on a giant catamaran to Sicily. Went round a greek amphitheater in Taormina before having lunch up on the summit of Mount Etna (an active volcano) yes we like our volcanos as this is the second we have been up and both have been active.

Steven and I are expecting a little girl!! Sorry I havent been able to get to a computer since Steven started playing FF again.

She generally is a wiggle bum and definitely takes after her dad! He hates photos of himself so her photos arent that great :'( but she is happy and healthy and at the end of the day isnt that all that matters? 

predictions?

Well its 3weeks tomorrow that my lovely other half and I find out what were having!

Friends and family think were having a boy.

Chinese predictors say its a boy.

Old wives tales say 67% girl.

I will reveal all as soon as we find out!

I havent done cross stitch since I was about 7 and a friend gave me some stuff and well I did a couple of winnie the pooh pictures for our soon to be nursery! Here they are:

Whoo the husband has finally sorted me out a faster computer ie his lol. So I am now able to sort pictures out as my phone wont let me grrr!

This is our little miracle! We thought we were going to be 11wks+5 but left finding out we were 13wks+1! We find out the end of May what colour were having! 3 days after we get back from Malta!

This is me this week I'm not on the best angle but the belt defines the bump really well!

I have some exciting news! The Simpson household is going from two to three! we're having a baby! Typically it happens when you put it on the back burner but hell we're still super psyched!!

 

Ive been meaning to post this for ages, were now 17wks and I've got pretty big, pretty fast! once I can get to a computer I will pop up some pictures of the scan my bump and baby related things!
