The Burgh Baby!

I ADORE Edinburgh it is completely safe to say that. some of my best friends live there and I always always have fun when I go. This time was no exception! Not only did we see the St Andrews fireworks, the german market, the castle, the surgeons hall museum and friends, we found a pub that had Frankensteins monster come out of a generator suspended above the dancefloor! Yes yes don't despair now! I have got photos to entertain you with!

The Burgh!

Once again I have had an amazing weekend away with Steven in Edinburgh for the german christmas market. I got to see 2 of my best friends that live there. Darren and Cait.
I spent ages saving for this weekend as a late birthday present for Steven. A fair few of us went, my brother and his girlfriend, josh, gary and his girlfriend yvonne.
I was so glad we got to see the fireworks from the castle as they celebrated St Andrews day. I had been bigging the fireworks up from when I saw them last. They were all the big BANG ones which Steven loves.
We wandered the market, had a hot chocolate in a novelty mug, I went ob the merry go round and then to a pub. On the saturday we went to the castle as bobs and josh hadnt been before. We then went to Frankensteins pub for food before doing some shopping then back to the hotel to get ready for our night out. We had an amazing night drinking cocktails and watching Frankenstein come out via a generator and lowered down on a slab he sat up then twitched then laid down again. Believe me when I say it was OUTSTANDING!
We went round a couple of museums too.
I love Scotland and go every year and to go with friends and family made it even better.

gig gig gig

Well! I'm particularly stoked for the coming week. I've been waiting to see Bowling For Soup for like ever and next friday I get to go see them with three of my best friends! Its going to be amazing! And to make it even better The Dollyrots who I also adore are supporting! I didnt even think they were still touring! When I heard that they were supporting I screamed a little! Well as I said in an earlier post things had to start looking up and they are!

I was worried with moving back to my old job we were going to struggle with money for a month, but I recieved in the poat yesterday a tax rebate for a grand! So Steven can get his money for the bills and I can finally buy some new clothes and put some of it aside for when we go to Edinburgh. This means we can actually not worry about spending money as I get another payday before we go too.

Happy realisation of the day, postive thinking/attitude may have some credibility after all :)

16/30 accomplishments

5 greatest accomplishments

1. Actually passing my GCSEs when I had only been able attend about a year of two.

2. As of monday 17th being married a year.

3. Learning to cook, but not just cook, create and improvise meals. Very little of the meals I cook are jars or packet based.

4. Seeing the majority of my favourite bands. Still got a couple left but I WILL see them!

5. Branching out of my comfort zone and going on holiday by myself. When I was 22 I went to Edinburgh to see some mates I had made on the internet years ago. Darren has come down to see me on various occassions now and Steven and I go up to Edinburgh at least once a year.
